16A –What’s Your Secret Sauce?

  1. Restorative- I believe this is one of my best traits as an entrepreneur because I love to solve problems whether it be personal or with other people.
  2. Achiever- I am always striving to keep myself motivated and believe that little improvements can ass up to big improvement if you do a little every day
  3. Belief-  I have very strong core values that guide me and help to give projects that I am doing meaning and allows me to be there for other people
  4. Intellection- I like to think and as a result I enjoy my alone time at least once a week so I can collect my thoughts and start fresh
  5. Learner- I always want to try to learn and absorb more, I am a firm believer that the more you know the better decision you will make

I feel like other people viewed me as a lot more strong willed and driven then I viewed myself. My dad and my roommate both pointed out how I can be incredibly stubborn and kind of hard headed sometimes which is a trait I know i have, but they didn't see that as a negative and instead saw it as something that continues to drive me. I think everything that was said about me was right, and I do think it was interesting to gain a different perspective on myself.

  1. Hey Elizabeth,
I think that we sometimes do not view ourselves in the best light simply because we do not like to think of ourselves highly. It is just a quality of a non-conceited person. However, this excretes helps us to see who we really are. It is okay to think of ourselves as great because we are! These are the qualities that make us unique and give us a head up on our future competitors. I too am an achiever. I like to be motivated and stay focused on improving myself!

  2. Elizabeth, first of all, I absolutely loved some of the words that you used to describe yourself. I know that I an probably many other people tend to think of and use more common words like determined or driven rather than restorative. Also when I was reading your reflection you mentioned that people thought you were more driven than you thought you were. I think when we try to describe ourselves we tend to underestimate our qualities, good and bad.

  3. Hey Elizabeth, I really enjoyed the chance to read you whole post. I struggled with this assignment because it was hard for me to find people who willingly would talk about me and most of them though it was weird and would start laughing in the middle of the record. Overall it was a good experience for me because I got to hear what all my friend really thought of me and what they felt I was capable of!
